Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day shows NGC 1672, a "barred" spiral galaxy in the constellation of Dorado. Fingers crossed for the Hubble Space Telescope. On orbit since 1990, it has recently developed some issues with the gyroscopes that help aim it and is in "safe mode".
