Trunk or Tadpole?
Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day shows IC 1396, the so-called "Elephant's Trunk" in the constellation of Cepheus. More like a tadpole or one of the fantastic sights in 2001'sStargate Sequence, if you ask me.
