It should be noted that the first link does explicitly state that it's a composite image: the Spanish tells what it was done with; the English merely states that it's a composite of two images.
However...the image is being passed around *without* the explanation that the article has or the original website has as "space shuttle breaches the clouds". I have had it presented, at least a dozen times now, as a spectacular site, not a composite image/a manufactured object.
