Today's
Astronomy Picture of the Day is a "all planet" view of Jupiter's atmosphere ("mouseover" the image to get the sequence going). The planet was imaged to capture a "day". One of my best nights of viewing (amateur) of Jupiter was a cold night in January when it was so clear and sharp I just watched...as the Great Red Spot went from one edge to the other. Then I wondered why my feet were frozen...
