I'm guessing it might be
Hubble Space Telescope week at the
Astronomy Picture of the Day. Today we revisit one of Hubble's most famous targets, the so-called "Pillars of Creation" (part of Messier 16, The Eagle Nebula, in the constellation of Serpens. It's amazing to see the difference in image quality
since the original image twenty-five years ago.
